Sana’a Presents New Offer to Aden’s STC
Sana’a issued on Wednesday, a new warning to the Southern Transitional Council (STC), the de facto authority in Aden, southern Yemen.
A member of the political bureau of Anssarallah movement, “Houthis”, Muhammad al-Bukhaiti, revealed a new Saudi plan aimed at consolidating al-Alimi’s authority over Aden and getting rid of what he described as a “transitional nightmare.”
Al-Bukhaiti considered the removal of the transitional council as a prelude to completing what remains of Islah, indicating that the way out is what he described as “the dilemma” represented by returning to the ranks of the homeland.
Al-Bukhaiti was commenting on the developments taking place in the southern provinces, most notably the formation of the “Nation Shield” and efforts to hand over the security file to it.
For his part, the advisor in the Political Council, Muhammad Taher Anam, considered the formation of “al-Watan shield” as a deliberate intelligence plan aimed at complicating the crisis in Yemen, and Anam expected the giants to join this faction known for its Salafi orientation.
