Coalition Navy Seizes Petroleum Ship: YPC

Sana’a-based Yemeni Petroleum Company (YPC) on Monday confirmed that the navy forces of Saudi-led coalition seized a petrol ship and prevented it from reaching the port of Hodeida.

YPC official spokesman Issam al-Mutawakil said the Saudi coalition forces detained the gasoline ship “Invictus” despite being subjected to forced inspection in Djibouti.

Al-Mutawakil pointed out that by seizing this ship, the number of fuel ships detained by the Saudi coalition increased to three.

He stressed that the Saudi coalition is still continuing to piracy on fuel ships of a humanitarian nature, which compounds the suffering of the Yemeni people.
