YPC Reveals Parties Involved in Oil Crisis
Yemen Petroleum Company (YPC) in Sana’a revealed the party involved in preventing the access of oil derivatives to Sana’a and other provinces.
The company affirmed that the oil company in Aden refused to load oil materials for locomotives heading to the Sana’a-held provinces, with the continued closure of the port of Hodeida by the Saudi-led coalition.
Spokesman for the company, Issam Al-Mutawakil, said on the Twitter on Saturday: “With the continued closure of the Hodeida port, the main artery of Yemen, we were forced to deal with what enters the oil materials into the free zones, despite their arrival after they were loaded with illegal and unlawful financial burdens.”
He stressed that “these arbitrary practices are aiming to tighten the noose around the citizens and create a derivatives crisis in the free provinces, so that the coalition media outlets claimed that the oil company in Sana’a was preventing the entry of locomotives.
