Sana’a Continues to Mobilize and Threatens with Military Actions
The Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs in Houthi government in Sana’a, Lieutenant-General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, called on Wednesday, to a general participation in the mobilization operations, training and joining the fronts. This coincides with widespread dissatisfaction in Sana’a with the recent Security Council resolution on Yemen, amid warnings of its repercussions on the course of the entire political process.
Exclusive-Alkhabar Alyemeni:
Lieutenant-General Al-Ruwaishan, during a preparatory meeting for the Eastern Sector Committee in Sana’a, called on everyone to play their role, in what he described as the “decisive campaign” from the history of “jihadist Yemen” and mobilizing society to confront the “aggression.”
Al-Ruwaishan was participating in the Yemen Cyclone campaign launched by President Mahdi Al-Mashat and is currently witnessing an unprecedented surge in the governorates of the Republic.
Lieutenant-General Jalal indicated that only “jihad” is the real way out, pledging to continue “jihad” until victory is achieved.
Since the beginning of this month, the provinces under the control of Sana’a have witnessed an unprecedented interaction at the level of villages, districts and cities with the campaign launched by President Al-Mashat during his meeting with the state’s chiefs in Sana’a..
Al-Ruwaishan’s statements come, on the eve of the Sanaa negotiating delegation’s warning of the repercussions of the Security Council’s decision to ban imports on Yemen, at a time when Yemenis are living in a humanitarian situation that may be aggravated by this decision.
Abdul-Malik Al-Ajri, a member of the delegation, said in a press statement that the latest decision contradicts the claim of the UN envoy to Yemen for peace, in a sign that Sana’a has boycotted the new movement of the international envoy, which he started from the Saudi capital.
Al-Ajri accused the United Nations of obstructing peace in Yemen and to go with peace efforts towards “the wind blows”, noting that it trades in the Yemeni file, it does not care about security and world peace.
