Sana’a Accused UN of Tamper with $ 1.7 Billion of Aid Funds to Yemen

1,200,000 women in Yemen suffer from malnutrition; half of them are pregnant, indicating that there are 600,000 premature babies need fuel that operates incubators to survive.

Minister of Public Health and Population in Sana’a government, Dr. Taha Al-Mutawakel, said on Wednesday that the United Nations tampered with about $ 1.7 billion of aid funds to Yemen under the pretext of the Corona pandemic.

During the expanded meeting of health sector leaders held in Sana’a, Dr. Al- Mutawakel called on the United Nations to fulfill its minimum duty to bring fuel ships in for the health sector.

The Health Minister pointed out that the health ministry has put in place an emergency plan to manage the fuel needs of hospitals and health facilities in light of the continuation of the Saudi-led coalition countries in preventing the fuel ships from reaching the port of Hodeida.
