164 Yemeni Refugees in Somalia

Somali authorities in Bosaso city announced on Friday that they had received a third ship carrying Yemeni refugees fleeing the hell of war.

A Yemeni ship arrived at the Somali city’s port carrying 164 Yemeni refugees, most of them children and women.

Earlier, Bosaso city received large numbers of Yemenis who fled a number of provinces as a result of the suffocating siege and war on Yemen for six years.

The city of Bosaso, in the northeastern Bari province of Somalia, hosts the largest Yemeni community because of its proximity to the Yemeni mainland.
