Saudi Arabia scheme to hatch a new political party in Aden

An informed political source revealed on Sunday about Saudi arrangements to establish a new southern component opposing the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) in Yemen’s southern provinces.

According to Yemen Press Agency the sources confirms that the Saudi ambassador, Mohammed Al Jaber, has intensified his contacts during the past two days with some southern political figures to establish a southern component includes some political currents and forces to be in parallel between the STC and Hadi’s government.

The Saudi ambassador offered temptations to a number of influential southern leaders, inviting them to visit Riyadh, for the same purpose, according to the sources.

The sources considered that the upcoming Saudi trend in the city of Aden in particular, and in the southern provinces in general, aims to tear the social fabric and achieve Saudi Arabia’s expansionist ambitions to control economic resources.
