Sana’a working to overcome effects of reducing UN aid

A spokesman for the pro-Houthis Ministry of Health, Dr. Yousef Al-Hadhri said that the ministry will make great efforts to overcome the effects of reducing UN aid to Yemen.

Al-Hadhri told Al Masirah TV channel, that the measures taken by the UN organizations in Yemen came under control of the forces of the Saudi-led coalition.

Al-Hadhri added that one program among 41 major programs of the United Nations had implemented in Yemen.

He pointed out that “thousands of health facilities are subject to closure during the coming period, and 50% to 80% of the UN health programs have been curtailed or closed.”

“Despite the financial difficulties, we will work to strengthen steadfastness of the health sector, preserve everything, and we will not give up,” Al-Hadhri reaffirmed.
