prisoners’ Families protest in front of UN office in Sana’a

The families of prisoners from the Sana’a forces and the Popular Committees (Anssarallah) held a protest rally in front of the UN office in Sana’a, on Wednesday.

Deputy Minister of Human Rights, in Sana’a government, Ali al-Dailami condemned the Saudi coalition’s actions against Yemeni prisoners, citing crimes committed in Saudi-run prisons which disregard for human rights law.

The families of the prisoners have blamed Coalition countries, their loyal forces and the United Nations for torturing and killing prisoners.

The protesters demanded that the International Committee of the Red Cross release all prisoners in accordance with the provisions of the four Geneva Conventions in 1949
