Sana’a forces carry out massive attack deep in Saudi territory

Sana’a Armed Forces (Houthis) announced Monday a wide-scale military operation targeting a number of Saudi military and vital installations in Jizan, Najran and Asir, , including airports and military bases in southern Saudi Arabia.

Spokesman of Sana’a forces, Brigadier General Yahya Sarie, said in a statement: The operation targeted the warplanes hangers, base housing and patriot systems in Khamis Mushait, and other military sites at the airports of Abha, Jizan and Najran.

Sarie said that the Sana’a forces targeted military aircraft, pilots’ facilities, Patriot systems in Khamis Mushait area, and other military targets at the airports of Abha, Jizan, and Najran with high-precision ballistic missiles, ‘have not yet been announced’, and a large number of drones.

He added that:” giant oil facility in the industrial zone in Jizan was accurately targeted.

Spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sarie indicated that the attack was carried out with high-precision, using ballistic missiles which had not yet been openly introduced, as well as a large number of drones.

Moreover, Brigadier General Sarie claimed the responsibility for the attack that targeted the Taadaween camp in Marib province in the middle of a meeting of Saudi military leaders and Hadi’s officers . The attack left dozens of dead and wounded.

The spokesman of Sana’a Forces confirmed that the operation comes in response to the crimes of Saudi-led coalition, the latest of which is the crime that was committed in Hajjah Sunday, the ongoing blockade and coinciding with the anniversary of Tanomah massacre against the Yemeni pilgrims.

He reaffirmed the Armed Forces’ determination in the legitimate defense of Yemen until freedom and independence are achieved

Sarie warned the forces of the Saudi coalition, saying:  “The Armed Forces will not hesitate to carry out more painful strikes during coming times until Saudi-led aggression ends, siege is lifted.”

The Sana’a forces spokesman said that the operation came “in retaliation to the crimes of Saudi-led coalition, the latest of which is the crime in Hajjah, as well as the ongoing siege.” He concluded.
