Money exchange shops in Aden closed

The Money Exchange Association in Aden announced , on Monday, a strike and a comprehensive closure of all exchange shops and exchange companies and transfer networks in protest against what it called the central bank’s abuses.

The Money Exchange Association announced its total rejection for the self-rule  mechanism imposed by the UAE-backed southern transitional council.

Yesterday, the association called for the closure of all exchange shops in the city, starting today.

The Money Exchange Association warned of the repeated attack on their offices by STC  military vehicles and threaten employees in exchange shops with weapons.

The association held the central bank fully responsible for the deterioration of the currency and the fall of the Yemeni riyal.
