Houthis extend work suspension of  80% of country’s employees

Pro-Houthis Ministry of Civil Service and Insurance in Sana’a announced today the extension of the work suspension to 80 percent of the country’s staffs for an extra  15 days, starting  Saturday, May 30.

This decision will include the elderly people  and employees with chronic diseases, but  the health, security and services sectors will be excepted.

The Ministry also announced, in a statement, extending the suspension of work with the fingerprint system for attendance and departure in all public service units during the same period.

The Ministry urged all public service units to adhere to the implementation of precautionary and preventive administrative measures issued by the Cabinet, the Higher Committee for Epidemic Control and the Ministry of Health in the workplace.
