Sana’a closes markets to combat Coronavirus

The Technical Committee for Combating Epidemics in the Capital Sana’a on Saturday issued official notices to close all markets and commercial malls temporary for few hours to conduct sterilization, as part of the precautionary measures to confront Coronavirus.

According to the Houthi-run Saba News Agency, the head of the emergency operations room of the technical committee,Abdul Wahab Sharaf al-Din said that the technical committee has sent notices through the concerned authorities to all markets and malls that sell clothes and personal items would be temporarily closed for spraying them with antiseptics as a precautionary measure against the Corona epidemic.

He pointed out that sterilization is one of the most important necessary measures that will be repeated in an orderly manner as markets and malls are places for gatherings.

Sharaf al-Din confirmed Technical Committee will take strict measures against those break the rules and endanger the health and safety of the community.
