Sana’a announces two new cases of COVID-19

Houthis-pro Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Taha al-Mutawakkil announced on Saturday evening two new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the capital Sana’a.

Dr. al-Mutawakkil referred, in a press conference, that one of the two cases is a 48-year-old man, and the other is a 38-year-old woman, confirming that the two cases recovered clinically.

He said that the Ministry of Health continues to follow up every case of suspicion, in cooperation with all the competent authorities.

During the press conference, al-Mutawakkil reaffirmed the necessity of strengthening the preventive measures by citizens and following the instructions issued by the Ministry of Health at various levels.

In Aden, the Yemen’s Saudi-backed government reported on Friday 21 new coronavirus cases, including three deaths, the coronavirus committee said on Twitter.

The Aden-based government committee said the tally for confirmed coronavirus cases in areas under its control now stands at 108, including 16 deaths.
