The spokesperson of Sana’a Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Sarie , announced, Sunday, that the Army and Popular Committees thwarted three crawls carried out by the Saudi- backed troops towards Marib and Al-Baidha provinces, confirming the death of dozens of mercenaries.
The three crawls continued from midnight last night until this morning, including two creeps in the front of Qaniya in Al-Bayda province, and another in Sirwah district of Marib province, said Sarie confirming the death of dozens of Saudi- backed troops.
He said the enemy has suffered heavy losses of life and equipment, and dozens were killed and injured in its ranks, but no progress has been made.
Later today, Brigadier General Yahya Sarie, said that their forces were able to confront a massive advance towards the Roshaha area in al-Boqa’a, near Najran, that lasted from morning until afternoon.
He said that the coalition army cannot achieve any of its goals and suffered heavy losses of life and equipment point out that many Saudi soldiers among the casualties.
Sare’e noted that the coalition warplanes launched 12 air strikes, which were distributed in separate areas of Marib and Al-Jawf provinces.
Yesterday, Saudi-led coalition warplanes launched 25 airstrikes during the past 12 hours majority of them on Marib province.
The spokesperson of Sana’a Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Sarie said that the coalition fighter jets launched on Saturday 25 strikes, 23 of which on Marib province to support the coalition troops to continue their crawls attempts.
The strikes hit Majzar and Madghal districts, leaving heavy damage to citizens’ houses.
The spokesperson added that the strikes and escalation contradicted the coalition’s claims to a ceasefire.
“This dangerous escalation will have terrible effects on the forces of aggression, and they must accept the results of their foolishness and escalation,” Sarie said.
