The Islah Party (Yemen-branch of Muslim brotherhood) confirmed that Saudi Arabia has obtained hundreds of millions of dollars in revenues from the port of Aden in southern Yemen, which would raise the port from the stagnation it is suffering from as a result of the UAE targeting its activity to serve the port of Jebel Ali.
The editor-in-chief and publisher of “Akhbar Al-Youm” newspaper, funded by Hadi’s deputy, General Ali Mohsen Al-Ahmar, said in a post on Twitter About 60,000 transit containers destined for the container port in Aden land in the port of Jeddah. $20 to $50 totaling an average of $2 million a day.”
He added, “It is assumed that fees are due to the container port in Aden, at a total of $60 million per month and $720 million annually.”
