Diplomatic Movement to Revive Truce Amid Fears of Situation’s Explosion
International and regional parties intensified their diplomatic activity in an attempt to rescue the truce. This comes amid mounting fears of an exploding the situation with the imminent expiration to the new deadline for Sana’a.

The international envoy to Yemen, Hans Grodenberg, held a meeting with the European Union delegation, the mission said in a statement that the meeting in which the European Union Working Group participated hosted by Amman, Jordan. He pointed out that the decision reflects the inability of the United Nations to conduct Yemeni negotiations.
The resolution imposes sanctions on Yemeni leaders, specifically in Anssarallah movement, which represents the most prominent party in the equation.
Sana’a’s demands come in parallel with international pressures and its region to proceed in a comprehensive peace process that has not yet achieved its most basic elements.
These developments come on the eve of rising fears of a return to the military track with the approach of a deadline granted by Sana’a to the regional and international parties to implement the entitlements to extend the truce, and it expires within days.
