Sana’a Accuses Coalition of Thwarting Dozens of Prisoner Exchange Deals

The National Committee for the Exchange of Prisoners in Sana’a accused the Saudi-led coalition and its loyal forces of thwarting more than ten prisoner exchange operations agreed upon through local mediation.

The head of the committee, Abdul Qadir Al-Murtada, explained in a tweet, that the exchanges would have included more than “200” prisoners from both sides.

Al-Murtadha stressed that the committee made every effort to make the operations successful, but the intransigence of the coalition-backed forces thwarted the implementation of the operations.
