Within 17 Days, Coalition Breaches UN Truce in Yemen 1,618 Times
The forces of Saudi-led coalition have continued to violates the humanitarian and military truce declared by the UN in Yemen with 1,618 violations for the past 17 days.
A military source in Sana’a government stated that the coalition forces’ breaches in the past 24 hours reached 73 violations, of which 37 flights of armed and spying reconnaissance aircraft over the airspace of the provinces of Marib, Jawf, Hajjah, Saada, Bayda, Amran, Hodeida and the border areas.
The source affirmed that the coalition forces established combat fortifications in various areas of Al-Silw district of Taiz, in additional to an infiltration operation on several positions of the Sanaa forces.
He indicated that several positions of the Sana’a forces were targeted with artillery attacks carried out by the coalition forces on the areas of Al-Balaq Al-Sharqi and Raghwan of Marib provinces and Haradh district of Hajjah.
The source also explained that 30 violations were recorded by shooting at citizens’ homes and military sites in the provinces of Marib, Taiz, Saada, Bayda, Hajjah and Al Dhalea.
