President of pro-Houthis Supreme Political Council (SPC), the highest ruling authority in Sana’a, Mahdi al-Mashat, on Tuesday awarded the Medal of Courage to the hero martyr Hani Mohsen Tomer’s family in appreciation of his heroic stance in confronting the Saudi-backed forces on Jawf front.
This came during the al-Mashat’s meeting with the family of the martyr Tomer.
Al-Mashat directed the Ministry of Defense to promote the martyr Tomer to the rank of colonel, in appreciation of his sacrifice and courage, as a model for the faithful Yemeni soldier in defending the homeland, its security, stability, sovereignty and independence.
According to Houthis-run Saba news agency, the President of Sana’a (SPC) praised the martyr Tomar’s courage, determination, and adherence to values, principles and national constants, as he tries to break the siege on his colleagues on Jawf Front.
“The martyr Tomar highlighted, through his courage, which topped the media scene, an aspect of the legendary steadfastness of the army and the popular committees in the face of the US-Saudi aggression,” Al-Mashat said.
