New Agreement between Houthis and Tariq Saleh
Sana’a announced, on Saturday, that a new agreement has been reached with the factions loyal to the Saudi coalition, one of which was with Tariq Saleh, the leader of the pro-UAE factions on the western coast of Yemen.
Head of Sana’a-based National Committee for Prisoners Affairs, Abdulqadir Al-Mortada, announced the liberation of 11 prisoners of Sana’a forces and the popular committees (Houthis’ fighters) in exchange deals on the West Coast and Jawf fronts.
Al-Mortada explained, in a tweet on Twitter, that the operations were mediated locally.
The new agreement is the fourth in less than a month, and it is also the first to be concluded with Tariq Saleh since media reports revealed an agreement to reduce the escalation on the coastal fronts between the two parties.
