Sana’a Reveals on US’s Vision Regarding Solution in Yemen
Mohammed Abdulsalam, Spokesman of Yemen’s Anssarallah Movement and senior negotiator of the Sana’a National Salvation Government, said that Sana’a is waiting for US respond on the submitted vision regarding the solution in Yemen, explaining that the vision includes a separate agreement with Saudi Arabia to stop raids in exchange stopping air attacks. Separated the humanitarian and political aspect from the military situation inside Yemen and on the military side, confrontations from all internal parties will cease.
He also indicated that their vision includes the necessity of opening ports and airports, leading to a gradual plan to stop the confrontations, calling on everyone to dialogue, indicating that Sana’a recognizes its mistakes.
Around the American initiative that US envoy said he presented to Sana’a delegation, Mohamed Abdulsalam explained that it did not carry anything new, which is a re-presentation of what he described as the joint declaration that United Nations presented through its envoy earlier, stressing at the same time, that the American role in Yemen did not differ from the role of the previous administration led by Trump.
Abdulsalam considered the current international movement under the peace banner, as an attempt to prevent the expulsion of foreign forces, which he said had made great progress for this, noting that Saudi Arabia launched, within one month, nearly a thousand air strikes, 90% of which were on Marib city alone.
