Islah troops pushes int’l organizations to leave Marib

A number of international organizations left on Tuesday Marib city, days after the Islah Party forces loyal to Saudi-led coalition kidnapped a UN employee and put him in the “Military Intelligence prison” in the city.

Local sources in Marib province stated that international organizations operating in Marib left the city in protest against the Islah militia’s kidnapping of a UN employee last week.

On February 11, the international organizations operating in Marib, topped by the US Agency for International Development (USAID), threatened in a statement with withdrawing from the city in protest against the Islah militia’s kidnapping of the engineer Yahya Hamid and placing him in the Military Intelligence prison.
