
At least ten of presidential protection staffs of Exiled president, Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi were kidnapped by the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) forces in the southern port city of Aden on Friday, Yemen News Portal reported.
According to the sources, the soldiers, who assigned to guard the Palace of Al-Masheeq, went out Friday in civilian clothes to roam the streets of the city, and they were intercepted by security forces belonging to the STC and took them to an unknown destination.
The fate of the recruits has not been yet known. The kidnap came after the deployment of Hadi’s forces in the city.
The city of Aden has been experiencing widespread insecurity, assassinations and ongoing violence against citizens ever since being under control of Saudi and Emirati forces.
